PRP is a biologic treatment that is derived from your own blood. PRP has a long history of being used in orthopedic medicine, dentistry and reconstructive surgery, and now its benefits are being applied to other fields of medicine such as dermatology, skin wound healing, cosmetic facial rejuvenation, and hair loss.

PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) and PRF (Platelet Rich Fibrin) refer to blood plasma that has been enriched with platelets. PRP consists of two elements: plasma, or the liquid portion of blood, and platelets, a type of blood cell that plays an important role in healing throughout the body. Platelets are well known for their clotting abilities, but they also contain growth factors that can start cell reproduction and stimulate tissue regeneration, rejuvenation, and healing in the treated area.

To create Platelet Rich Plasma, first we take a blood sample from the client, it is then centrifuged that rapidly spins, separating the platelets from other components of the blood and concentrating the platelets within the plasma. And finally, PRP or Platelet Rich Plasma that is full of "Growth Factors" is then injected into the skin.

How many treatments are required?
